ISRO

 ISRO stands for the Indian Space Research Organization. It is the national space agency of India, headquartered in the city of Bengaluru. ISRO was formed in 1969 with the aim of developing space technology and conducting space research for the benefit of India and its people.


ISRO is responsible for the development and operation of India's satellite launch vehicles, as well as for the design and development of various satellites and related technologies. The agency has launched a number of satellites for communication, earth observation, navigation, and scientific research.


Some of ISRO's notable achievements include the successful launch of the Chandrayaan-1 mission to the moon in 2008, the Mars Orbiter Mission in 2014, and the successful launch of a record 104 satellites in a single mission in 2017. ISRO has also been actively involved in international collaborations and has partnerships with several space agencies around the world.
