KL Rahul is an Indian cricketer who was born on April 18, 1992, in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. He is a right-handed batsman and a part-time wicket-keeper.

Rahul made his international debut for India in December 2014 in a Test match against Australia. He has since gone on to represent India in all three formats of the game - Test, ODI, and T20I. He is known for his elegant stroke play, solid technique, and versatility in batting positions.



In domestic cricket, Rahul plays for Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy and has also played for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has been a consistent performer in the IPL, scoring over 2000 runs with one century and 23 half-centuries to his name.



Rahul has had a few ups and downs in his career, but he remains one of India's most talented and versatile batsmen. He has scored over 4000 runs in international cricket across all formats, including 11 centuries and 27 half-centuries.
